Four-Day Tall Ship Adventure

Join us for the trip of a lifetime on this 4 day adventure voyage sailing the amazingly beautiful Tasmanian  Coast. 

Step aboard the Lady Nelson for four unforgettable days of sailing, adventure and discovery as we head south from Hobart into the beautiful waterways of southern Tasmania.

Our Route:

Leaving Hobart behind, we’ll set our sails and follow the wind towards D’Entrecasteau Channel, around the bottom of Bruny Island across Storm Bay, around Tasman Island and north to Fredrick Henry Bay.

Potential stopping points - Dover, Southport, Recherche Bay, Port Arthur, Norfolk Bay and Quarantimne Bay

Where we go will depend on the wind, weather and tides — making every voyage a little different and every day an adventure.

This is more than simply a trip on a boat. You can be part of the crew . Help set the sails, take a turn at the helm, learn the ropes of traditional tall-ship sailing and experience the thrill of watching the Lady Nelson come alive under sail. or just relax and watch the world go by.

There will be time to explore quiet anchorages, take in spectacular coastal scenery and enjoy the changing landscape as we travel further south. As evening approaches, we’ll settle into life aboard the ship, share meals, swap stories and watch the sun disappear over the Tasmanian coastline.

Three nights aboard the Lady Nelson give you the chance to experience what life at sea is really like — waking to a new view, checking the wind and weather, and wondering where the day's sailing will take us.

Whether you're an experienced sailor or have never sailed on a tall ship before, this is an opportunity to leave the everyday behind, get involved and experience Tasmania from a completely different perspective.

Departs: Hobart 9am on Sunday 31st January 2027

Returns: Hobart approximately  4pm on Thursday 3rd  February 2027

Cost: $1,100 for 4 days including 4 nights accommodation onboard the Lady Nelson PLUS all meals ($275 per day)  

Deposit: Secure your spot with a $100 non-refundable deposit - remainder paid on invoice

Possible destinations: Bruny Island, the Huon River and Dover, depending on sailing conditions.
