Youth Adventure Trips (Multi Day)
These trips are generally 5 day, 4 night for youth groups, generally Monday morning until Friday afternoon but can be tailored for your needs
Participants can be school groups, scout groups or the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award participants.
The structure of the voyage is that the youth are fulfilling 4 stations during the first 4 days.
These stations are
• Navigation and ship’s command
• Engineering
• Catering
• Deck Crew
Whilst all participate in their stations during the day they will all be required to be on deck for sail handling when needed.
At each station the participants are taught the basics of their roles.
On the Thursday night the participants select a Master, Engineer, Bosun and one or two Cooks from within their group.
These elected leaders then take charge of the vessel (with supervision) to bring us back to Hobart.

No sailing experience is necessary, however, as you will be working in the galley for part of your time we expect you to get the "Do Food Safely" certificate prior to joining the voyage. DO FOOD SAFELY HERE
