Sail Hobart to Cygnet, Friday 7th of April
Board the Lady Nelson with a French welcome from the Captain and crew. Depart Hobart at 9AM and we proceed southwards. When the wind is right we will set the sails. As you are getting to know the ship, perhaps take the helm or maybe go aloft or out onto the bowsprit. When the wind is right help to set and adjust the sails or just find a spot and watch the stunning coastline pass you by. Whilst you are doing all this our Chef and their assistants will be preparing your French syle lunch.
But before you have lunch morning tea will be served.
Things you will see as you head southwards. dolphins (usually) seals, gun emplacements (Piersons Point), Arch Rock, Huon Island plus the beautiful channel.
You depart from the Lady Nelson once we get to Cygnet, exactly when depends on the wind but around 6PM.
Sails from Cygnet Saturday April 8th
French Breakfast Cruise from Cygnet
Enjoy a French breakfast as we sail the Channel. Including croissants from the Cygnet bakery as well as other petit déjeuner français items. Washed down with brewed coffee and some French bubbles.
Departing 9 AM back at 10:30. Cost $55
Short Sails on Saturday
Lady Nelson will have two (90 minute) sailings on Saturday the 8th departing at 11:00 and 14:00. Bring a picinic to enjoy as we sail this beautiful part of the world. Help out when we set sails and learn how to sail the boat or sit there and watch the action and the world goes by - up to you.
Cost $40 per Adult and $20 per child.
Sunday 9th Full Day History Sail In the wake of Baudin
Depart Cygnet at 09:30 on Sunday the 9th. Sail to Port Esperance (or maybe beyond if winds are favourable). Back in Cygnet around 16:30. This trip includes lunch and morning and afternnon teas and a historian will be onboard to talk about Buadin's travels in the Channel.
