"The Lady Nelson" Visitor & Discovery Centre in Mount Gambier. The people of Mount Gambier celebrated December 3rd, 2000 as 200 years since Lt Grant sailed past the Southern coastline of Australia and named Mount Gambier.   The Wooden Boat Association comprises groups from throughout Australia, open to all owners, builders, restorers and lovers of boats made of wood (not surprisingly). Old, new, carved, clinker, ply, composite. We don't care. As long as it's got wood - lots of wood.
